Friday, The eve of Spring Break.

Awesome Students, it looks as though about half of the class has not finished the PowerPoint section of the CRT. We''ll take about 20 minutes of the class today to finish, OK?

Those who have already finished your CRTs and all other assignments can work in whispered voices on your other subjects, or put finishing touches on the PowerPoint CRT.

Did you use animation, automatic slide transition, 3-D auto shape, hyperlink, picture in auto shape? If not, let me show you how.

AIMS.

Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards

What standards? Standards that the AZ Dept of Ed believes every student should have a grasp of before they graduate from high school. In fact, unless you pass AIMS in reading, writing, and mathematics, you cannot graduate in Arizona. Most other states have similar "exit" exams.

Arizona is working on having exit exams for every course you take, including science, Career & Technical, culinary arts, etc. Will you be ready?

Or, as Captain Hook asked Jack: "When the time comes, will you want to be saved?" Don't answer now. No. No. No. Think about it. You have a year. It will go quickly. Are you doing the things now that will prepare you for success later?

Or, will you wake up a year from now and say, as the preacher's son said many years ago: "Oh, why didn't I listen to my teachers? Why didn't I pay attention to those who gave me instruction? I have come to the brink of utter ruin, and now I must face public disgrace."

DO HARD THINGS!

Peace.
