Well, I hope I'm here today. Whew!

Bell Work: Google this: According to the FBI, who are the ten most wanted fugitives? It's OK to copy and paste.

Today we are going to do a project in Excel. You will find the file attached. I will be making rounds to help you. I'm glad to help anyone who raises his/her hand.

Here is a link to the document on Excel. Take your time. I do not expect anyone to finish in one day.

Thursday Morning

Students, it has been an honor to be your teacher this year. I have enjoyed each and everyone of you. Thank you.

Bell Work: What new programs or applications would you recommend that we have for freshmen next year who will be taking Computer Apps?

Today, most of you are still completing your travel brochure. Finish these today, please. On Friday, they will only be worth, at most, 70%.
  • For some obtuse reason, we cannot download Google Chrome now. I'm not sure if it will work, but try this: if you are using Internet Explorer, download mozilla Firefox. Then use Firefox to download Chrome.
  • You all have a Google account (if you have a blog). Do this: go to Google Docs. Upload your Tourist brochure and your Three-Cities PowerPoint. Then copy and paste the URL (web address) into your blog as a new post for Thursday.
  • E-mail me your blog URL.
  • TaDa.

Wednesday updates

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hatred cannot drive out hatred; only love can do that." (Martin Luther King, Jr.)

Tuesday at BMHS

Note: Today's assignment will include a handout. By Far, the biggest problem the other classes had was this: They DID NOT read the instructions. I am happy to help; however, if you don't even try, you're cheating yourself out of the pride that goes with solving a puzzle. Everything you need to know is in the handout. Choose Excellence.

Students, if you do not have a Google account, please get one. Then download Google chrome web browser.
If you have Chrome, search for the Chrome web store. Download some of the apps onto your computer. I highly recommend the Awesome Screenshot App. I would tell you how to find it, but I know you are capable on your own. Get the "Blog This! app. Also, try one of the really cool new themes they have there. There are a thousand apps, extensions, and themes that you can add to blogger and/or Chrome. Try some.
Bell Work: If you could travel to anywhere in the World, where would you go?

01 May 2011

Finally Dead!!!

Bell Work: Go to AzCis and update your portfolio (resume portion). In skills portion, put down that you are now a savvy blogger.

Today, on your igoogle dashboard, add these apps: blog this, Oh, never mind. I just tried it and everything is blocked.

Today, we are going to do something cool and groovy. As soon as I know what that is, I'll share the information with you, OK?
